Does This Site Have Anything to Offer You?

Hopefully, this summary will save you from wandering around here without finding what you’re really looking for.

Who MyndGuide Is For

MyndGuide may be for you if:

– You have some answers, but not a full solution.
– You’ve improved, and now want to optimize what you’ve already learned.
– You’ve collected countless teachings and developed a solid practice – but you’re still waiting for the real shift to happen.

MyndGuide is about that elusive next step.
The final step.

Which, it turns out, is realizing:
There is no next step. And no final one either.

This site is about the application of what you already have – not the collection of more.

To be clear:
MyndGuide is not necessary.
In fact, the author hopes to remind both you and themselves of that very fact.

If You’re New to All This…

If you’re just starting your spiritual or self-inquiry journey, MyndGuide probably isn’t the best place to begin.

In the beginning, I encourage you to hunt and gather.
Read. Watch. Listen.
Consume as much as you want – all the inspiring, profound, even contradictory material about the meaning of life.

Enjoy the journey. Enjoy the search.

Eventually, though, you’ll start to feel something shift.

When the Cliff Appears

Sooner or later, you’ll start to feel well-traveled – and still incomplete.

A little weathered.
A lot discouraged.

Your path will have taken you through various landscapes and teachings. And then, one day, you’ll arrive at an inevitable place:

The cliff.

You’ll stand at the edge, staring out.
And you’ll realize: you can’t think your way across.

Every teaching tells you a leap of faith is needed.
But you’re not quite ready to leap.

So you turn, and walk the perpendicular path.
Still on the edge. Still near the drop.
But walking sideways instead of forward.

You follow the cliff line, collecting more teachings, hoping the next one will finally give you the courage to jump.

You walk for a while.
The view keeps you going.
But eventually, you come to see:

The courage required to leap doesn’t come from the path.
It only ever comes from within.

That’s Where MyndGuide Sits

Right on the edge of that leap.
Not pushing.
Not pulling.
Just present.

If you’re not ready, that’s okay.
There’s no rush.

The edge is a beautiful place to be.
The view is incredible.
And the path? Still very much alive.

Walk Your Path – Even Sideways

If you’re walking the perpendicular path, don’t judge it.
Don’t judge yourself.

Enjoy it.

Practice as you walk.
Notice the small slips, the close calls.
Each one pushes you slightly closer to the edge.
Each fear creates a new edge to navigate.

Let every misstep become a teacher.
Let every panic become perspective.

And don’t let anyone else tell you when it’s your time to leap.
That’s your decision alone.

Be your own guide.
Explore what’s holding you back – but do it without judgment.
See it.
Accept it.
Let it go.

I Know This Path Well

I’ve taken it myself – slowly, painfully, sometimes hilariously.

Some days, I walk the turtle’s path:
Slow, deliberate, but always moving.

Other days, I walk the chicken’s path:
Wings flapping, full of potential… unwilling to fly.

And then there’s the fool’s path:
Tripping forward, over and over.
Each fall more ridiculous than the last.
Clinging to the edge, heart racing, resisting the thing that could be so simple… and yet feels like suffering.

No judgment.

Just a reminder:
The path is already set.
The timeline is not mine to control.

So I do my best.
I optimize my experience as best I can.
And I try to enjoy the view from the cliff’s edge.

So… What Is MyndGuide?

It’s this.

Self-directed lessons for the stubborn, scared, brilliantly evolved, mind-based humans
who are beginning to realize they have no idea what they’re doing.

You’re not alone.
You’re exactly where you need to be.

While you are here, I hope you enjoy the view.
