Be caused
There is doing.
There is being.
Being includes doing.
But doing will never quite understand being.
Doing requires taking credit.
Credit can only be taken for something done – so it always involves the past.
If you don’t take credit, you can’t claim to have done it.
If you don’t review the past, how do you know it was done?
Even taking credit for not taking credit can only happen after the fact and upon reflection.
Without reflection – without credit – can anything be said to have been done?
Is that what… being is?
We say being is present-tense.
But “saying” anything is a reference that points to the past where being has already been done.
This poses a problem for the mind process.
Being happens before “done” is ever realized.
Which raises the question:
If being is…
and having done causes…
Can anything ever be… be-caused?
The affect of cause is effect.
Which leads to the next cause.
Because cause requires a predecessor –
which requires being.
But being is never thought of as enough.
This is our mind process loop.
Break the loop with questions:
Can being ever be caused by something else?
Might there be a lead-up to being?
A being, never quite realized?
If the mind should trip and understanding fail…
and being is realized –
Ask if it was caused?
Or was it always there?
Not caused.
Not claiming credit.
Just being.
?
Advice:
If One justifies one moment because of another,
One may be wise to pause.
Be careful.
Be aware.
Has being caused the thought…
or has thought arisen because of another?
